At Ravenhall Correctional Centre, you will work in a state-of-the-art facility with dedicated units for forensic mental health, complex behaviours, and first-time prisoners. Our unique Continuum of Care model extends into the community, ensuring ongoing support through GEO's Community Reintegration Centre.

As an Assessment & Reintegration Specialist, you'll be at the heart of rehabilitation, conducting assessments, building case plans, and connecting individuals with the services they need to succeed post-release. Your work directly impacts reintegration outcomes, helping reduce re-offending and creating stronger communities.

What You Will Do

n

n
- Undertake comprehensive assessment to inform case planning and referrals.
n
- Facilitate information sessions on parole, health and community reintegration.
n
- Provide practical support with housing, identification, Centrelink and other services.
n
- Collaborate with custodial staff, Alliance Partners and Community Correctional Services.
n
- Advocate cultural awareness by working closely with Aboriginal Programs and diverse communities.

Is This You? Your Essential Skills for Success

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Criminology, Welfare, or related Human Services qualification, and/or equivalent experience.
n
- Robust understanding of offender management, reintegration and institutional adjustment issues.
n




- Exceptional communication skills with a non-judgemental, empathetic approach.
n
- Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment and manage complex caseloads.
n
- Experience with assessment tools, data analysis and case formulation is highly valued.
n
