Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of transport maintenance services across Australia. Due to current contracts, we are seeking Mechanical Rolling Stock Maintainers based in Kangy Angy.

As part of the expanding maintenance team, you will support increased fleet maintenance activity across operational and stabled rolling stock.

n

What's Involved:

n

n
- Perform scheduled maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting on passenger trains
n
- Supporting live running trains and preparation for revenue service
n
- Maintaining rolling stock in various storage locations
n
- Diagnostics, inspections and interpreting technical drawings
n
- Working across mechanical and/or electrical systems
n

n

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- Australian recognised trade qualification with Certificate of Proficiency
n
- Current RIW Card or willing to obtain
n
- Able to pass a cat 1 rail medical
n




- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Forklift and/or overhead crane licence (desirable but not essential)
n
- Preferred experience with passenger trains or rolling stock
n
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
n
- Excellent references to support your application
n
