Dynamic Hydro Excavations is seeking a motivated Vac Truck Operator to join our growing team in Newcastle, NSW.

No previous vac truck experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn to build a long-term career within the civil construction industry.

As a Vac Truck Operator, you will operate specialised vacuum excavation equipment across a range of civil, construction and infrastructure projects. This is a full-time position with a dynamic and expanding organisation.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Operating specialised vac trucks and associated equipment to safely and efficiently excavate and remove soil, debris and other materials from construction sites
n
- Completing comprehensive on-the-job training in vacuum excavation operations
n
- Performing routine inspections and basic maintenance on vac trucks and equipment
n
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures, site requirements and environmental regulations
n
- Working closely with project managers, supervisors and other team members to complete projects safely and efficiently
n




- Maintaining accurate records and documentation relating to daily excavation activities
n
- Representing Dynamic Hydro Excavations professionally while working on client sites
n

What we're looking for

n

- A valid HR or HC class driver's licence
n
- No previous vac truck experience required — full training will be provided
n
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n
- The ability to follow instructions and work safely
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude
n
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
n
- Previous experience in civil construction, transport, heavy machinery or a similar industry would be advantageous but is not essential
n
