Are you passionate about strategic planning, performance reporting and driving continuous improvement? We're seeking an experienced Integrated Planning & Reporting (IP&R;) Officer to support a busy local government team in delivering high-quality corporate planning, performance reporting and business improvement initiatives.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in local government planning, reporting, business performance or corporate strategy who enjoys working collaboratively across multiple business units.
n
The Opportunity As the Integrated Planning & Reporting Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting Council's strategic planning framework by coordinating reporting, maintaining performance management systems and assisting with the delivery of statutory Integrated Planning & Reporting (IP&R;) requirements.
n
You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure accurate reporting, maintain corporate planning systems and provide guidance to users throughout the planning and reporting cycle.

The Role
n
n
- Assist in the preparation, monitoring and reporting of Council's strategic, business and capital works plans.
n
- Support the delivery of the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, Operational Plan and other IP&R; documentation.
n
- Maintain and enhance Council's performance reporting and planning systems.
n
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing administration of performance management databases.
n
- Provide user support and training to staff using planning and reporting systems.
n
- Monitor organisational performance data and ensure reporting is accurate, timely and compliant.
n
- Analyse information, identify trends and prepare reports for management.
n
- Liaise with stakeholders across Council to coordinate planning and reporting activities.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives relating to corporate planning and performance reporting.
n

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- At least 2 years' experience in corporate planning, performance reporting, business improvement or a similar role.
n
- Experience working with performance management systems, databases or corporate planning software.
n
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
n
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports and engage with stakeholders across all levels.
n
- An understanding of statutory reporting requirements, preferably within a local government environment.
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
