ABOUT THE ROLE

n

Renovations North Queensland is looking for a qualified and experienced carpenter to join our Townsville team.

n

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys varied work, takes ownership of their jobs and maintains a high standard of workmanship. Our projects include residential renovations, retirement-living refurbishments, property upgrades and general building repairs.

n

You'll work alongside our existing team and trusted local trades, with consistent work available for the right person.

n

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

n

n
- Your work will include:
n
- General carpentry, repairs and maintenance
n
- Residential renovations and refurbishments
n
- Door, window, wall, ceiling and external building repairs
n
- Fit-off and finishing work
n
- Demolition and preparation for other trades
n
- Identifying issues and helping determine practical solutions
n
- Coordinating with supervisors, other trades and clients
n
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
n
- Completing work to the required quality and within the allocated timeframe
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- A recognised carpentry trade qualification
n
- Relevant residential renovation or maintenance experience
n
- A current driver's licence
n
- A Construction White Card
n
- Your own carpentry tools
n
- Good practical problem-solving ability
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Clear and respectful communication
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Reliability and a willingness to take responsibility for your work
n
- Experience working in occupied homes, retirement-living environments or property maintenance would be well regarded.
