Theatre Nurse- one day a week - Thursday or occasional friday

We are seeking an experienced, AHPRA-registered Casual Scrub/Scout Nurse one day per week, usually thursdays, occasional friday. About the Role

n

As an integral part of the perioperative multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the highest standard of clinical care and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Maintain strict sterile fields and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
n




- Scrub for procedures and perform meticulous instrument/sponge counts.
n
- Act as a Scout nurse, coordinating the room, documenting procedures, stocking trolleys.
n
- Ensure all equipment is safely prepared and functioning perfectly prior to incision.
n
- Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse) with full Australian working rights.
n
- Minimum of 12-18 months of recent scrub/scout experience in an Australian hospital setting.
n
- Strong understanding of perioperative nursing and infection control standards.
n
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
