SCILL is seeking qualified, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team across the Sunshine Coast.
n
These casual positions offer consistent and predictable shifts, with workers matched to the same participants each day or week to ensure continuity of care and strong relationships.

About the Role
n
This role involves a combination of in-home support and community access, depending on the participant's needs. Shifts range from 2-8 hours and are available Monday through Sunday.
n
You will be supported by an experienced Team Leader who provides guidance and helps maintain high standards of care.
n

Requirements

- Experience as a parent, carer, or support worker
n
- Driver's licence and reliable, roadworthy vehicle
n
- Blue Card
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- First Aid and CPR
n
- Certificate in disability work, aged care, or willingness to obtain
n
n

Essential Criteria
n
n
- Excellent communication and listening skills
n
- High level of initiative and strong problem-solving skills
n
- Demonstrated ability to view people with disability as valued individuals with human rights
n
- Commitment to a person-centred approach
n
- Certificate in disability work, aged care, or willingness to obtain
n
- Smartphone with internet access and ability to send short reports via email
n

- Current NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (or willingness to obtain)
n
- National Police Check obtained within the last 12 months
n
- Valid Queensland driver licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
n
- Able to work in Australia with no restrictions on hours
n
- Ability to commit to the same days and times each week
