About the Role

n

We are seeking a motivated and organized Fleet Allocator & Administration Support professional to join our growing general freight transport business. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that combines daily fleet allocation with a variety of administrative responsibilities to support our transport operations.

n

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while ensuring our fleet operates efficiently and our customers receive outstanding service.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Allocate and schedule vehicles and drivers for daily freight movements.
n
- Monitor fleet movements and respond to operational changes throughout the day.
n
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
n
- Prepare and maintain transport documentation, manifests, and delivery records.
n
- Enter and maintain accurate data within transport management systems.
n
- Assist with customer enquiries and provide regular shipment updates.
n
- Support compliance requirements, including driver documentation and vehicle records.
n




- General administration duties including filing, reporting, and document management.
n
- Work closely with the operations team and National Operations Manager to improve efficiency and customer service across all service lanes.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in transport allocation, logistics, or fleet scheduling (preferred but not essential).
n
- Experience in an administration or customer service role.
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
n
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and transport management software.
n
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
n
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
