Maxwell Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Trade Assistant to join a reputable engineering workshop based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a business that manufactures specialised industrial equipment.

Enjoy a Monday to Thursday roster (6:00am – 4:00pm), giving you a 3-day weekend every week, with some overtime available on Fridays.

About the role

n

Working as part of a skilled workshop team, you'll assist with the assembly of specialised industrial equipment.

n

Duties include:

n

n
- Assisting with pipework and tube work
n
- Using hand and power tools
n




- Supporting tradespeople with workshop assembly
n
- General workshop duties
n
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n

n

To be successful you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or within a manufacturing/workshop environment
n
- Experience using hand and power tools
n
- Good mechanical aptitude
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n

n

Desirable:

n

n
- Experience assisting with pipework or tube work
n
- Forklift Licence
n
- Overhead Crane experience
n

n
