About the Role

n

Reporting to the Accountant, you will assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the business and support the finance team across a range of accounting and administrative functions.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
n
- Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
n
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting and closing processes
n
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
n
- Support payroll administration and related reconciliationProcess employee expense claims and reimbursement
n




- Assist with compliance-related tasks
n
- Liaise with internal departments and external parties to resolve financial queries
n
- Assist the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks as required
n

About You

n

n
- An Australian bachelor/ master's degree in accounting
n
- 1-2 years' experience in accounting or finance role preferable
n
- Experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar is highly desirable.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
n
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
n
