We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Guess DFO Homebush.

Position Overview:

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the brand's image and standards. You will assist in leading a team of passionate associates, ensuring operational excellence and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and KPIs by providing leadership and guidance to the sales team.

Assist in recruiting, training, and developing associates to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold brand standards.

n

Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to drive traffic, maximise sales and optimise profitability.

n





Ensure the store's visual merchandising standards align with GUESS's aesthetic and showcase our products effectively.

n

Oversee inventory management processes, including stock replenishment, transfers, and regular audits.

n

Assist in managing operational aspects such as scheduling, payroll, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

n

Foster a positive and inclusive work setting, resolving any team conflicts or issues effectively.

n

Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

About you

n

Previous retail management experience, preferably in fashion or apparel, with a proven track record of success.

n

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop a high performing team.

n

Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving abilities.

n

A passion for fashion and a keen understanding of current trends and consumer preferences.

n

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
