About the Role

n

As an Arts Educator, you will help children learn through creative art experiences.

n

You will work in our Atelier (art space) and other learning areas to support children's creativity and ideas.

n

As an Arts Educator, you will:

n

n
- Run art and creative activities in the Atelier and learning spaces
n
- Help children use different art materials like paint, clay, and drawing tools
n
- Encourage children to share ideas and express themselves
n




- Work with educators to include art in daily learning programs
n
- Support children's learning, creativity, wellbeing, and confidence
n
- Help record children's learning and creative work
n
- Join team meetings and training sessions
n
- Work with the team to plan fun and creative learning experiences
n
- Keep a safe, calm, and welcoming creative space
n
- Follow child-safe rules and safe work practices
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Experience or qualification in Early Childhood Education (Certificate III or Diploma preferred, or working towards)
n
- Interest or background in visual arts or creative work
n
- A love for creativity and working with children
n
- A warm, caring, and positive attitude
n
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
n
- Willingness to learn and grow
n
- Confidence supporting children in creative activities
n
- A commitment to child safety and inclusion
n
- A current Working With Children Check
n
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to get these)
n
