The Opportunity
n
We're looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our Plastics packaging portfolio in Victoria. Based at our Clayton office but also covering our other sites, this critical role manages key customer relationships and drives business development across the food, beverage, and industrial sectors.
n
You'll be a strategic partner to your customers, focused on delivering value-led solutions that align with Visy's sustainability goals—particularly in promoting the adoption of recycled plastics.
n
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative commercial team and make a tangible impact across one of Visy's most innovative divisions.
n
What You'll Do
n
n
- Manage and grow existing accounts to achieve revenue and margin targets
n
- Identify and convert new business opportunities in key market segments
n
- Drive sustainable packaging initiatives through recycled plastics
n
- Collaborate across internal teams to execute projects and support customers
n
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting using CRM tools
n
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
n
- Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights for growth
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
- 5+ years in sales or account management in packaging or a related B2B sector
n
- Proven success in revenue growth and strategic customer management
n
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian market and packaging trends
n
- Experience with solution-based selling and sustainability-driven value propositions
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related field
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP, or VRM)
n
