- These roles are Permanent Part Time, 50hrs/fortnight
n
- The internal job title for this role is Customer Co-worker
n
- Due to operational requirements, candidates must be available to work a flexible rotating roster between 9:00am and 9:30pm, including evenings, 3 out of 4 weekends each month, and peak trading periods.
n
- To be considered for this role you have full-day availability Wednesdays and Fridays.
n

Recruitment Process Overview:

- Interview panel: next step is an in-person interview with the hiring team.

- Training: if successful your employment with IKEA will commence on Monday 31 August.

About this work area

n

As Customer Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

n

n
- Delivering a fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experience for customers.
n
- Handling cash and card payments in a reliable, efficient, and accurate manner.
n
- Supporting daily Customer Experience operations, including responding to customer enquiries and resolving customer concerns.
n
- Assisting across Customer Experience areas including Greeting,



Exchanges & Returns, and Customer Service as required.
n
- Contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming customer environment by keeping areas organised, returning products to their correct location, replenishing supplies, and supporting daily operational routines.
n
- Ensuring customers have a positive final touchpoint during their IKEA shopping experience.
n
- Recording information accurately in relevant systems to support continuous improvement.
n
- Working collaboratively with your team to provide a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
n

- Experienced in retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment (preferred).

- Able to work independently while also supporting co-workers across different Customer Experience functions.
