An exciting prospect for a Store Sales Manager has just become available at Rapid Tune. We are looking for a vibrant and energetic person who is comfortable working in our fast-paced modern, state of the art retail Automotive Service Centre.

Enjoy being the face of the business whilst leading a team of enthusiastic, capable, and motivated technicians. This position may even be suitable for a mechanic looking to move away from the tools and advance their career skyward.

Key facets of the role include

- Communicating with customers about repairs required on their vehicle
n
- Liaising with the mechanics about further required repairs
n
- Selling that additional work to the customer
n
- Taking payments and managing the diary
n

n

Personal Attributes

n

n
- Mechanical experience is an advantage but not necessary
n
- Must be an Australian citizen
n
- Customer-friendly focus
n
- Strong organisational skills
n
- Current Drivers License
n

- Strong sales capability and proven techniques to convert quotes into approvals
n
- Ability to drive workshop performance through proactive customer engagement
n
- KPI focus including:
n
- Cost of Goods (COGS) control
n




- Customer retention and customer growth
n
- Month-on-month sales increases
n
- Timely and proactive sourcing of parts, balancing price, quality, and repair urgency
n
- Confidence explaining repair recommendations and the value behind them
n
- High-level communication and customer relationship strengths
n
- Ability to identify and act on customer and sales growth opportunities
n
- Self-motivated with internal drive to push performance independently
n
- Management of reception, bookings, invoicing, and customer follow-ups
n
- Supports fleet account processes and efficient workflow
n
