About the Role:

n

We are seeking a highly motivated HSE/WHS Advisor to join our team based out of our Brisbane Office, located in Hamilton.

n

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our operational teams located across the Eastern states of Australia, to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Support leaders to implement HSE standards and support a culture of Zero Harm.

n

Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of WHS systems.

n

Maintain a regular travel schedule to keep in contact with employees, ideally travelling two weeks per month.

n

Contribute to safety data analysis, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

n

Assist with regulatory compliance under Australian WHS legislation.

n

Assist with site safety inspections, audits and hazard identification.

n

Participate in incident reporting, investigations and corrective action tracking.

n

Assist in the development and review of Project Risk Assessments, SWMS, JHAs, SOPs and safety documentation.

n





Conduct regular site visits, toolbox talks and safety meetings.

n

Develop and support health and wellbeing initiatives across the business.

n

Monitor applicable legislative changes and communicate to the business.

n

Qualifications & Skills:

n

5+ years' experience working in a site-based HSE/WHS role

n

Proficient computer skills and document writing

n

Minimum Certificate 4 or preferably Diploma in WHS

n

Prior mining, civil or construction industry experience

n

Australian Drivers licence

n

Experience with the injury management process in QLD or NSW

n

Mechanical Trade background - highly desirable

n

Cert 4 Training and Assessing – highly desirable

n
