Work Location: Warrnambool, VIC 3280 Position: Experienced Chef/Cook Employment Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Salary: $77,500 - $82,500 per annum + Superannuation Deep Blue Hotel & Hot Springs is a leading hospitality destination in Warrnambool, renowned for delivering exceptional dining experiences, premium accommodation and outstanding guest service. - Competitive salary package of $77,500-82,500 plus superannuation, based on skills and experience.

Task & responsibilities

n
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards.
n
- Ensure consistency in food quality,



presentation and portion control. Assist with menu planning and seasonal menu development. Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS standards.

- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation. Minimise food wastage and maintain cost-effective kitchen practices. Work efficiently during busy service periods.

- Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff.
n

Qualification & experience

n
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Chef or Cook in a busy commercial kitchen. Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred but not essential where sufficient experience can be demonstrated).
n
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations and food safety requirements. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team setting.

Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
