We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a motivated Paralegal to join our plaintiff personal injury firm in our Sydney office on a hybrid basis and gain hands‐on experience in a supportive, client‐focused firm making a real difference in people's lives. Applicants who are available to work a minimum of four days per week may be considered.

The successful candidate will work closely with a Solicitor and wider team taking responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks across a broad range of personal injury matters (predominantly workers compensation), helping to ensure the highest quality service is delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft and prepare legal correspondence and documentation.
n
- Prepare briefs to counsel and letters of instruction to medico‐legal experts.
n
- Obtain statements from clients.
n
- Coordinate and manage medical and expert appointments.
n
- Liaise with clients, medical providers, solicitors and other stakeholders.
n
- Review medical records and summarising key information relevant to the claim.
n
- Manage deadlines and tracking key dates for court filings, medical reports, and settlement conferences.
n
- Maintain accurate records to support efficient team workflow.
n
- Electronic court filing.
n
- Support the client intake process and responding to enquiries.
n

Essential Skills and Experience

n

n
- 2+ years recent experience as a Paralegal working in personal injury – workers compensation experience advantageous.
n
- If currently studying, applicants must have at least two years remaining in their degree.
n
- Solid knowledge of workers compensation legislation and PIC procedures.
n
- A keen interest in learning and growing your career in personal injury.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Time management with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
n
- A genuine interest in client care and helping people.
n
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
