Position Classification: Staff Specialist

Remuneration: $278,355 to $376,068 per annum full time equivalent depending on experience

n

Hours Per week: Up to 40 hrs per week

n

Remuneration as a Senior Specialist will be considered and is subject to CE Approval

About the Role

n

Provide contemporary comprehensive Specialist Urologyservices at the primary facility and other facilities where applicable for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care.

n

Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

n

Lismore Base Hospitalis a regional referral, Level 5 base hospital providing a wide range of health services to residents in Northern NSW.

- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Urologist, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
n
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Urology Surgery at the role delineation of the service
n
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
n
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
n
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
n
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
n
