Our Victorian operation is growing, and we're seeking an Independent Design Consultant to partner with us. This is an ideal opportunity for a self‐employed design professional who wants to align with an iconic Australian product.

Commercial structure

- Independent consultant arrangement – operate as your own design business under your own ABN

- Commission‐only, uncapped earnings directly tied to your project outcomes

- Realistic OTE $100,000+ for committed, design‐savvy professionals

What you'll be doing – Design‐led client consulting

n

n
- Managing a steady flow of warm project enquiries through our CRM
n
- Attending pre‐qualified on‐site consultations
n
- Assessing spaces, site conditions and architectural context to determine optimal Vergola integration
n
- Exploring design options,



finishes and structural interfaces with existing or proposed works
n
- Helping clients visualise how a Vergola will extend and enhance their living and entertaining areas
n
- Preparing concept layouts and tailored Vergola solutions in line with design, structural and compliance requirements
n
- Presenting proposals, clearly explaining design rationale and key product perks (operation, light, shade, ventilation, weather protection)
n
- Liaising with our project/installation team to ensure a seamless handover from design to delivery
n
- Maintaining accurate notes and updates in the CRM so every opportunity is professionally progressed

What you bring

n

At least 2 years' experience in a design‐related or consultative role, ideally in:

n

n
- Practical understanding of residential building and detailing – essential for integrating Vergola into new and existing structures
n
- A consultative, solution‐focused approach – you listen, interpret the space and propose the right Vergola outcomeAbility to translate technical information into clear, client‐friendly explanations
n
- Strong organisation and follow‐through – confident juggling multiple site visits, concepts, quotes and stakeholders
n
- Comfortable using CRM and digital tools to manage your design pipeline
n
- Self‐motivated, professional and confident operating as an independent consultant
n
- Reliable, presentable vehicle and a current Australian driver's licence
n
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
