Job Description

The prospect exists for an Asset Protection Officer to join a Council on an initial 6 month contract commencing in September.

n

Employed as an Asset Protection Officer, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Inspection of works to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies
n
- Investigation & resolution of any breaches of legislation and policies
n
- Issuing of infringement notices
n
- Issuing vehicle crossing permits
n
- Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld
n
- Supervising works & construction of municipal infrastructure.
n

As the ideal candidate you will have/be:

n

n
- A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant experience/qualifications
n
- A Civil Engineer with experience in issuing permits within a local government organisation
n
- Experience conducting asset protection inspections
n
- A solid understanding of Local Governmentprocedures
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- A current driver's license
n
