Job Description

The Groups Meetings & Events Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activity in order to maximise rooms, groups, conference and events revenue through pro-active selling and conversion of customer enquiries into confirmed sales.

What will I be doing?

n

Manage the relationship and business processes between C&E; Sales & C&E; Operations

n

Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting new leads through to event coordination and ultimately securing repeat business

n

Identify trends, and create innovative tactical offers to drive both leads and conversion

n

Develop and maintain strong client relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

n

Regularly review and manage individual and team performance against objectives and provide feedback

n

Provide relevant coaching and development to the team

n

Actively be involved through face-to-face client interactions including qualified site visits, hosted events, proactive telesales calls and attendance at networking events

n

What are we looking for?

To successfully fill this role,



you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

n

Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role

n

experience in producing, analysing and make recommendations from detailed Commercial Reports including but not limited to: Weekly Forecasts, Annual budgets, Demand & Conversion Analysis

n

Experience of managing and motivating a team

n

Able to collect and analyse relevant information and provide solutions.

n

Demonstrated attention to detail, while multi-tasking and delivering work on time

n
