We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join our growing team. As a Civil Litigation Lawyer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality legal services to our clients, with a focus on dispute resolution and litigation matters. This full time position offers the chance to work in a collaborative and supportive setting, contributing to the success of our respected law firm.

What you'll be doing

Representing clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including defamation matters and contract, property, building and construction disputes.

n

Conducting legal research, preparing court documents, and participating in negotiations and mediations to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.

n

Providing strategic advice to clients on their legal options and the best course of action to resolve disputes.

n

Collaborating with the broader legal team to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to client matters.

n





Continuously developing your expertise and knowledge to stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and case law.

What we're looking for

n

A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree, and admission as a solicitor in Queensland.

n

Demonstrated experience of at least 0-5 years in civil litigation, with a proven track record of successfully resolving disputes.

n

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into easily understandable advice for clients.

n

A collaborative and client-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

n

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for the law.
