About the Role

n

As our Cook, you will:

n

n
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to dietary requirements
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with cleaning and infection-control standards
n
- Keep accurate records of key kitchen and stock data
n
- Liaise with supervisors and suppliers regarding stock control and ordering
n
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
n
- Contribute ideas for menu development and special events
n

n

About you:

n

You are someone who enjoys working with the elderly and understands the impact good food can have on wellbeing. Your excellent time-management skills, reliability, and commitment to safe food practices make you a valuable addition to our team.

n

You will also bring:

n

n
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial food preparation, cooking processes, and a strong knowledge of food hygiene.
n




- At least 2 year's experience as a commercial cook
n
- Strong understanding of food safety legislation, texture-modified diets, and special dietary needs
n
- Experience in the aged care sector is highly regarded
n
- Valid Australian work rights(Sponsorship is not available)
n
