About the Role
n
As a Mobile Physiotherapist, you will provide person-centred physiotherapy assessments and interventions to support clients in improving mobility, independence, strength, and overall quality of life within the community.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Functional mobility and physical assessments
n
- Falls prevention and balance programs
n
- Strength and mobility rehabilitation programs
n
- Pain management and movement therapy
n
- Exercise prescription and wellness programs
n
- Manual handling and mobility recommendations
n
- Supporting clients following hospital discharge or injury
n
- Developing treatment plans and therapy goals
n
- Supporting clients under Home Care Packages, Support at Home, NDIS, and transitional care programs
n
- Liaising with families, care coordinators, nurses, and other allied health professionals
n

- Bachelor or Master qualification in Physiotherapy
n
- Copy of relevant qualification/certification or degree
n
- Current AHPRA registration
n
- Current National Police Check
n
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
- Professional Indemnity Insurance with minimum cover of $5 million
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Experience working within community aged care, NDIS, rehabilitation, or transitional care settings
n
- Knowledge of Home Care Packages, Support at Home, and NDIS funding models
n
- Experience developing mobility, strength, and falls prevention programs
n
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
n
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
n
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
n
- Experience using electronic care management systems (preferred)
n
- Multilingual skills highly regarded
n
- Passion for person-centred and holistic care
