Our finance team plays an important role in supporting operations across multiple locations, working closely with stakeholders throughout the business to ensure accurate reporting and smooth day-to-day financial operations.

About the Role

This is a varied Assistant Accountant position that offers exposure across both financial accounting and credit support. Working within an experienced finance team, you'll be trusted with a broad range of responsibilities while contributing to ongoing improvements across systems and processes.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Preparing month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Maintaining the general ledger and supporting finance systems
n
- Managing fixed asset, lease and treasury registers
n
- Supporting customer credit administration, account maintenance and payment allocations
n




- Assisting with finance systems and process improvements
n
- Working with stakeholders across the business to support day-to-day finance operations
n
- Providing general support to the wider finance team as required
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer or in a similar commercial finance role
n
- A sound understanding of accounting principles
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
- Confidence using Excel and finance systems (ERP experience highly regarded)
n
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
n
- CPA studies are desirable but not essential
n
- Full Australian working rights
