About the role

n

MSS Security is seeking a Casual Security Officer - Control Room Operator to work at the Nyaal Banyule Geelong Convention & Exhibition Centre, working across a 12-hour rotating roster. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, monitoring CCTV surveillance, and conducting regular patrols to maintain a secure and secure environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

n

- Responsible for access control, CCTV monitoring, contractor sign in, isolations, audits, incident reports, lost property and responding to email and phone enquiries.
n
- Monitor and respond to alarm activations.
n
- Conduct patrols, maintain a visible security presence and provide excellent customer service.
n
- Assist in training new Operators and provide ongoing support.
n




- Act as the Chief Warden when required or in the absence of the Security Manager, demonstrating strong knowledge of emergency management procedures.
n
- Act as the primary first aid responder, providing initial emergency response and carrying out warden duties.
n

Requirements:

n

n
- Full Australian working rights.
n
- Valid Victorian Security Licence with the control room subcategory.
n
- Valid Victorian Drivers Licence or have a reliable means of transport.
n
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
n
- 24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster.
n
