H2O Cafe Restaurant is a busy and established waterfront café restaurant located in Narrabeen on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We operate 7 days a week across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and hands-on Café Restaurant Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue.

n

Weekend availability is essential for this role.

n

We are looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leads by example and can confidently manage a busy café restaurant environment while maintaining excellent customer service and a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day front-of-house operations
n
- Lead, supervise and support the FOH team during service
n
- Confidently manage busy breakfast, lunch and dinner services
n
- Prepare and manage staff rosters
n
- Recruit, train and develop team members
n
- Maintain high standards of customer service
n
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
n
- Manage reservations, group bookings and functions
n
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and management team
n
- Assist with stock control and ordering
n
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
n
- Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness and service standards
n
- Monitor labour costs and support efficient venue operations
n




- Ensure RSA, food safety and workplace procedures are followed
n

About You

n

n
- Previous café or restaurant management experience is essential
n
- Weekend availability is essential
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills
n
- Confident managing busy services and leading a FOH team
n
- Hands-on and willing to work alongside the team during service
n
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
n
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
n
- Experience with staff rostering and training
n
- Current NSW RSA or ability to obtain one
n
- Full working rights in Australia
n

Experience with POS systems, reservation platforms, functions and events will be highly regarded.

n

- $80,000–$90,000 + superannuation, depending on experience
