About the opportunity:
n We're looking for a dedicated Grounds and Maintenance Officer tohelp keep our Retirement Village running smoothly and looking itsbest. In this hands-on role, you'll complete general buildingmaintenance, use equipment like ride on movers and tractors andmanage the upkeep of our beautifully landscaped garden areas,ensuring a secure, welcoming, and well-presented environment forresidents, visitors, and staff alike.

Your day-to-day will involve:

n

- Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, andorganise contractors when needed
n
- Care for lawns, gardens, paths, and outdoor areas to a highstandard
n
- Carry out routine tasks like rubbish removal, guttercleaning, watering, pruning, and planting
n
- Maintain tools and ensure safe handling of equipment andchemicals
n
- Keep accurate maintenance records, support regulatorycompliance, and uphold safety procedures
n




- Assist with stock control and basic admin such asprocessing invoices and keeping registers updated
n
- Work as part of a friendly, multidisciplinary team thatvalues cooperation and respect
n

About you:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience in general gardening andmaintenance
n
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Standards andrequirements relevant to grounds and maintenance work
n
- Knowledge of and experience in gardening andgroundskeeping
n
- Ability to use power garden tools and a ride on mower
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
n
