About the Role:

Phoenix EMS is seeking a skilled Workshop Electrician to join our Cardiff team. This role is primarily workshop-based and involves the assembly, wiring, testing, and refurbishment of electrical equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience working in a workshop environment, and a solid understanding of electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assembly and wiring of switchboards, control panels, and electrical systems
n
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications
n
- Carry out fault finding, repairs, and refurbishment of electrical equipment
n
- Test and commission electrical components and systems
n
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with Australian Standards
n
- Maintain a clean, organised,



and protected workshop environment
n
- Accurately complete job documentation and reports
n
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
n

Skills & Experience:

n

n
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
n
- Previous experience in a workshop-based electrical role
n
- Experience with switchboard building and/or control wiring
n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
n
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills
n
- Experience with motor control systems and PLC wiring
n
