We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to join and bring their expertise to our dedicated professional team in Loganholme, QLD.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Plan, design, and test power stations and equipment used for the generation, distribution, transmission and utilisation of electric power
n
- Lead and coordinate electrical infrastructure projects
n
- Drive engineering standards, compliance, and quality, delivering design packages aligned with cost, schedule, and project requirements
n
- Provide technical expertise in electrical service design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
n
- Develop and review electrical designs (LV, MV, HV systems)



for renewable energy projects
n
- Install and test electrical systems and processes
n
- Use software and perform detailed calculations to plan, design and develop manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications to improve electrical systems
n
- Interpret schematics and Single Line Diagrams into physical layouts and BOMs, performing calculations for switchgear heat loading and short-circuit ratings
n
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 61439, AS 2067, and other relevant legislation
n

Required Qualifications and Skills

n

n
- Degree: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical/Mechatronics/MechElec with strong electrical capability
n
- Proven experience designing modular switchboards/panelboards and producing sheet-metal manufacturing drawings
n
- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 61439
n
- Experience with modular switchboard systems such as Cubic Galaxy (or similar)
n
- Strong 2D design skills in AutoCAD
n
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and LV electrical equipment
n
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work proactively
n
- Ability to work independently and lead technical outcomes
n
- Confident communicator able to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
n

Salary: $165,000 per annum + Super
