We are seeking experienced and professional Control Room Operators who have worked within security control rooms, parking control rooms, CCTV monitoring centres or similar operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Monitoring CCTV, alarms, access control and other security systems
n
- Responding to incidents, alarms, emergencies and operational requests
n
- Coordinating security officers, mobile patrols and other operational personnel
n
- Managing incoming calls, intercoms and customer enquiries
n
- Supporting parking operations, including access, equipment and customer assistance
n
- Escalating incidents in accordance with site procedures
n
- Liaising with emergency services, clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
n




- Maintaining accurate control room logs, incident reports and operational records
n
- Providing clear and professional communication during routine operations and emergencies
n
- Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the site at all times
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Current Victorian Security Licence with Control Room Operator endorsement
n
- Previous experience in a security, parking, CCTV or similar control room environment
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Sound incident-management and problem-solving capabilities
n
- Good computer skills and confidence using multiple systems
n
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
n
- Strong attention to detail and accurate report-writing skills
n
- Availability to work across a rotating 24/7 roster, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays
n
- Full Australian working rights
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience operating CCTV, access control, alarm or intercom systems
n
- Experience within parking, transport, commercial property, retail or major-event environments
n
- First Aid and CPR qualifications
n
- Experience coordinating security teams or mobile patrols
n
- Strong knowledge of emergency response and escalation procedures
n
