Practice Information:
n Mixed billing practice established in 1995, There are 5 General Practitioners on site, in addition to this, there is a Skin Specialist 2 days per week and a psychologist once a fortnight.The Practice has adequate onsite parking, access for persons with disabilities, toilets and child friendly facilities.

Position Description:
n As a General Practitioner you will be responsible for the following:

n

Comprehensive medical care, including prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of multiple general medical presentations

n

Providing skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to patients

n

Ordering diagnostic tests as needed, checking and informing patients of results as per practice policies and procedures

n

Referring patients appropriately to other providers if their needs exceed the range of care you are able to provide

n

Consulting and collaborating with colleagues to provide optimal care

n

Documenting all care provided and education/information given to patients within their health record, as per clinics procedure

n





Having a working knowledge of legislation and standards of General Practice

n

Providing services courteously and respectfully, with regard to the cultural beliefs and needs of patients

n

Working constructively and harmoniously with all staff to ensure patients receive optimal care

n

Collaborating in regard to rosters and providing cover to ensure patients' needs are met

n

n Highfields is a town and locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2021 census, the locality of Highfields had a population of 8,568 people, The Cultural Centre is a large venue for conferences and performances. Also located at the Centre is an outdoor public swimming complex with a large indoor arena holding two volleyball and basketball courts and a gym. Just outside this is the Highfields Library at Community Court.
