Job Description

Plumblife is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber and Gas Fitter to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Seaford, VIC 3198. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive plumbing and gas fitting maintenance services to our valued clients across the local area. You will play a vital part in ensuring the safety, reliability and functionality of our clients' plumbing and gas systems, whilst maintaining Plumblife's reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

n

Carry out routine maintenance inspections and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems

n

Install, service and repair gas appliances and gas fitting systems in accordance with Australian standards and regulations

n

Diagnose plumbing faults and implement effective solutions, minimising disruption to clients

n

Perform preventative maintenance work to extend the lifespan of plumbing and gas systems

n

Respond promptly to service calls and emergency plumbing and gas issues

n

Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used and time spent on jobs

n

Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards and regulations

n

Provide professional advice to clients regarding their plumbing and gas system maintenance needs

n

Maintain tools and equipment in positive working order

n

Collaborate with the broader Plumblife team to support operational efficiency

n

What we're looking for

n

Current and valid plumbing licence demonstrating qualification as a licensed plumber

n

Current and valid gas fitter licence, with experience in gas appliance installation and maintenance

n

Proven experience working as a maintenance plumber,



ideally in both residential and commercial settings

n

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, pipework, drainage, and water supply systems

n

Comprehensive understanding of gas safety regulations and standards applicable in Victoria

n

Ability to diagnose plumbing and gas issues accurately and efficiently

n

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

n

Strong communication and customer service skills

n

Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n

Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport

n

First aid certification is desirable
