Freedom Retreads is seeking an energetic, competent & reliable Delivery Driver in a full-time permanent capacity, to join our team.

The Freedom Tyre Group is a large national & privately owned tyre wholesale & manufacturing company focussed on providing its customers with a range of safe & cost-effective tyre solutions for the truck, bus, passenger car, industrial, mining & off the road markets.

Freedom Retreads is the rapidly growing truck & bus tyre retreading division of group which provides customers with high-quality, environmentally conscious tyre solutions for their fleet of vehicles.

n

The driver role involves loading & delivery of truck/bus retread tyres to our customers in the Brisbane & regional locations. While it is expected that delivery driving will be at least 95% of the requirement, you will also be work as part of the retread tyre production team occasionally as required.

The Job:

n

n
- Accurately pick & prepare orders, including checking tyres against prepared delivery documentation.
n
- Forklift & hand loading company owned vehicles & securing for protected transport.
n




- Carry out deliveries to Brisbane metro & surrounding regional areas.
n
- Follow all documented POD procedures & return daily POD's & delivery run sheets.
n
- Follow quality processes & comply with all on site procedures & safety regulations.
n

The Person:

- Reliable, physically fit & with a strong work ethic
n
- Your own reliable transport to get to/from work
n
- Ability to follow procedures & work to a schedule
n
- An ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
n
- A capacity to work occasional overtime
n
- Training will be provided for forklift licence for the right candidate if not currently held
n
- Hold an MR manual truck licence, or preferably HR licence.
n

Desirable but not essential:

n

n
- Previous tyre delivery or manufacturing experience
n
- The role is for full time employment with a competitive hourly rate. A uniform is provided after a qualifying period.
