We're seeking a hands-on and experienced HR Business Partner to join a fast-paced manufacturing business employing approximately 400 people in a 24/7, multi-shift production environment.
n
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an experienced HR qualified to partner closely with senior leadership to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations, lead high-volume recruitment, manage complex employee and industrial relations matters, and help build the people systems, processes and culture needed to support future growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, thrives in operational environments and wants to leave a visible legacy.

What you'll be doing
n
n
- Leading end-to-end recruitment and supporting across workforce planning.
n
- Managing employee and industrial relations across a unionised workforce operating under an EBA.
n
- Building trusted relationships with leaders and employees across the organisation.
n
- Coaching and supporting managers through performance, conduct and workplace matters.
n
- Improving HR processes, policies and systems
n
- Partnering with the wider HR team to strengthen leadership capability and workforce development.
n
- Contributing to long-term culture, engagement and organisational improvement initiatives.
n
- Supporting with HR administration and operational duties as needed, including preparing employment contracts, letters and HR documentation.
n
- Maintaining accurate employee records ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
n

About you
n
n
- 5+ years HR experience, ideally with some experience at HR Business Partner level, or a high-performing HR Advisor who is ready to step up.
n
- Strong Industrial Relations and Employee Relations capability within a unionised environment.
n
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or another 24/7 multi-shift operational business (preferred).
n
- Confident managing high-volume recruitment and fast-moving operational priorities.
n
- Comfortable working on the production floor and building credibility with a diverse workforce.
n
- Practical, resilient and approachable, with the ability to balance empathy and accountability.
n
- Experience implementing HR systems or building HR processes from the ground up will be highly regarded.
n
