Industrial Electrician – Testing & Commissioning
n Location: Melbourne

n Salary:$60–$65 per hour (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experiencedIndustrial Electricianto join our growing team based in Melbourne.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated electrician with robust commissioning and testing experience to work on fuel system installations and associated control systems across a range of industrial sites throughout Sydney.

As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for the testing, commissioning and ongoing support of electrical systems associated with fuel infrastructure projects.
n Key Responsibilities

n

n
- As an Electrician you will carry out testing and commissioning electrical systems.
n
- This Electrician will assist with the commissioning of fuel systems and associated ancillary equipment.
n
- The Electrician will carry out fault finding, diagnostics and system verification.
n
- Testing and commissioning control systems.
n
- Working with low voltage electrical installations.
n
- Assisting with PLC commissioning and basic programming modifications.
n
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and control schematics.
n




- Providing post-commissioning technical support and troubleshooting.
n
- Completing commissioning documentation and compliance records.
n
- Travelling to customer sites across the Melbourne metropolitan area.
n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- VIC Electrical Trade Qualification and current Electrical Licence (or relevant Engineering Degree with applicable experience).
n
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning industrial electrical systems.
n
- Experience commissioning control systems and ancillary equipment.
n
- Sound knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.
n
- Experience with PLCs, including basic programming and fault finding.
n
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
n
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
- Ability to travel to various sites throughout Sydney.
n
