About You:

We're after someone who's reliable, hardworking, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves. You'll have a genuine interest in the automotive industry, a solid work ethic, and a positive, can-do attitude. Our ideal candidate will:

n

- Hold avalid Queensland Driver Licence
n
- Hold a valid Queensland White Card
n
- Be available to travel and work between Gold Coast and Brisbane Depot's
n
- Hold a Certificate II in Automotive (strong advantage)
n
- Ability to work in a team environment
n
- Have the ability to use initiative within the workplace
n
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Have high attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills
n
- Be extremely reliable and punctual
n

n

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test.

About the Apprenticeship:

n





As aCertificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR31120)apprentice, your typical duties will include but not limited to

n

n
- Troubleshooting and carrying out diagnosis procedures
n
- Discussing problems with vehicle drivers to discover faults
n
- repair and service cooling systems, diesel fuel systems, air conditioning, engine forced induction systems and clutch assemblies
n
- overhaul, repair and service engines, manual and automatic transmissions, air braking systems and final drive assemblies and repair and service steering and suspension systems
n
- Use of specialised equipment and tools.
n

This full-time 48 month supervised apprenticeship will provide you with in-depth training relevant to the industry and will require an organised and innovative applicant who has the ability to multitask.
