Brisbane City Council - Traffic Controller

This role is based at the Brisbane City Council South Region Depot in Darra, on Brisbane's Southside. Your primary roles and responsibilities may include the following:

n

- Use of standardised tools to control traffic
n
- Ute Driving
n
- Monitoring Traffic Management Plans
n
- Completing mandatory pre-start checks
n
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
n
- Administration and paperwork
n
- Assessing site safety at all times for hazard identification purposes
n
- Reporting duties (i.e. safety incidents or safety hazards)
n
- Monitoring of traffic behaviour in line for BCC safety requirements and procedures
n
- Controlling traffic in accordance with the protection of pedestrians, work crews and all other members of the public
n

Key Requirements

- Traffic Controlling Industry Experience
n




- Traffic Management Implementation
n
- White Card
n
- Open C class licence
n
