$90,000 - $105,000 per annum, plus work vehicle, and superannuation

About the Company

Farmcraft is a locally owned and operated family rural supplies business with 35 years' history serving Kalbar, Lowood, Boonah, Beenleigh and Coopers Plains in South East Queensland. We're looking for a qualified agronomist to work across our Kalbar and Lowood stores, covering horticulture, fodder and pasture crops, with regular on-farm and in-store customer contact.

About the role

n

This is a hands‐on, customer‐facing role. You'll need to be comfortable talking with farm owners and family‐run operations, building genuine relationships, and pitching in wherever needed — we run a flat structure with minimal hierarchy, and delivering product on‐farm is part of the job, not beneath it.

Main Responsibilities

- Provide agronomic advice on crop protection, nutrition and seed across vegetables (carrots, onions, sweet corn, beans, pumpkins,



brassicas, cucurbits), lucerne, pasture and fodder crops
n
- Support in‐store and on‐farm sales, working with farm owners and corporate accounts
n
- Build long‐term relationships with customers and suppliers
n
- Assist with forecasting, extension activities, grower meetings and field days
n
- General branch support as required

Education / Experience / Skills

n

n
- Bachelor of Agricultural Science or similar relevant qualification
n
- Robust knowledge of crop protection, nutrition and production in horticulture and/or broadacre systems
n
- Broad knowledge of fodder and pasture agronomy
n
- Strong relationship‐building and communication skills
n
- Class C licence (Forklift licence and AgSafe accreditation highly regarded, or willingness to obtain)
n
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
