Project Coordinator - Steel/Production Environment

We're looking for a motivated and organised Project Coordinator to join our team.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the action — coordinating work on the floor, keeping projects moving, achieving quality outcomes and ensuring both the team and the client stay informed every step of the way.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of assigned projects and tasks, working closely with internal teams and key stakeholders.

n

You will:

n

- Facilitate, coordinate and assist with the successful delivery of projects safely and 'Quality on Time'
n
- Liaise with workshop teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to keep work on track
n
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service and clear client communication
n




- Ensure forecasts, timelines, expectations, and outcomes are effectively managed
n
- Drive the procurement program with our key suppliers
n
- Attend project tender reviews and handovers to provide input as required.
n
- Ensure all project data is entered into the relevant system
n
- Support day-to-day workshop production activities where required
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Experience in a structural steel production, manufacturing, or workshop environment
n
- Ability to read and interpret steel fabrication drawings and symbols
n
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
n
- Confidence communicating with both internal teams and external clients
n
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting
n
- A proactive, hands-on approach
n
