Recruitment Select is currently recruiting for various roles to join our large, well-known manufacturing client based in Benalla. We are looking for candidates with expereince in a Trade Assistant or Storesperson role.

n

This role will commence on a casual contract (full-time hours required), with the potential for permanent full-time positions in the future. Working hours will be day shift (6:00am-2:15pm) or afternoon shift (2.00pm-10.15pm) felxibility on both would be desired. Full training will be provided.

n

Wages will be negotiated based on experience. Candidates with licensed electrical qualifications or a relevant degree in mechanics/electrical will be eligible for higher pay rates. This is a hands-on role so you will be required to use hand/power tools confidently, on your own and assemble products.

Responsibilities may include:

- Experience using hand/power tools confidently
n
- Assemble metal enclosures, frames, and panels according to engineering drawings and specifications
n
- Fit doors, hinges, locks and gaskets
n
- Previous stores or warehouse experience
n
- High attention to detail
n
- Reliable, hardworking, and a team player
n
- Perform fastening, bolting, welding, or riveting as required
n

Follow assembly procedures and safety standards

n

This is entirely indoor work, no outdoor or confined space tasks are required.

n
