Job Description

Due to continued production growth, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced A Grade Licensed Electrical Maintenance Fitterto join their highly skilled maintenance team.
n This role is responsible for ensuring plant equipment, machinery and automated production systems operate safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime through preventative and breakdown maintenance. Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you will become part of a collaborative maintenance team responsible for supporting continuous improvement initiatives, fault finding and maintaining critical production assets.

Role Tasks & Duties:
n The role includes but not limited to:
n
n
- Perform preventative, predictive and reactive electrical maintenance across industrial manufacturing equipment.
n
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on automated production machinery.
n
- Fault find using PLC software and interpret fault diagnostics to minimise downtime.
n
- Read and troubleshoot PLC logic including Function Blockand Ladder Logicprogramming.
n
- Work with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), servo drives, motors and industrial control systems.
n
- Support commissioning, installation and modification of new production equipment.
n
- Work with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems during maintenance and fault diagnosis.
n
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
n
- Complete maintenance documentation, work orders and equipment history accurately.
n
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
n
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace health & safety requirements.
n
- Assist production teams during equipment breakdowns to minimise operational downtime.
n
- Participate in shutdown maintenance activities where required.
n
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
n

Required Skills, Experience and Competencies:
n
n
- Hold an active Current Australian NSW A Grade Electrical Contractor License.
n
- Proven experience within an industrial manufacturing or automated production environment.
n
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
n
- Demonstrated experience working with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)and industrial motor control systems.
n
- Working knowledge of PLC systems and the ability to troubleshoot via PLC software.
n
- Understanding of Function Blockand Ladder Logicprogramming.
n
- Experience working with PLCs, HMIs and SCADA systems.
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics.
n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
n
- Robust commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
n
- Full unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
n
n
Additional requirements:
n
n
- A partial completion of an Australian Trade Certification will be considered very desirable.
n
- Will be expected to undergo a Rail CAT 3pre-employment medical with LAB Drugs & Alcohol Screening.
n
- Will have to complete anAustralian Police Check.
n
- Have fulltime unlimited Australian working rights.
n
- A Valid NSW HRW Forklift License is highly desirable.
n
- The business is subject to the public health order requirements which are released of changed from time to time.

What Is On Offer?

- - $57.20 Per Hour for stand hours.
n
- - Allowances: Shift Loadings & Overtime Time Rates Paid When Worked.
n
- - Fortnightly rotating Days & Afternoon Mon - Thurs shift, with an early Fri finish.
n
- - Standard Working Hours:
n
- - DayShift: - Mon - Thurs = 6:00am = 3:00pm, Fri = 6:00am - 12:00pm
n
- - Afternoon Shift: - Mon - Thurs = 2:30pm - 10:00pm, Fri TBC.
n
- - Initial 6 Months contract, with a view to extend & permanent pathway succession plans thereafter.
n
- - Immediate Starts.
