A fantastic prospect has become available for a passionate Registered Nurse - Anaesthetics/Recovery to join a dedicated team at a private hospital in Melbourne's eastern suburbs on a part-time basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

n
- Preparing patients for surgery, preparing anaesthetic equipment, and assisting with anaesthesia administration;
n
- Providing patient care during recovery and monitoring post-operative vital signs;
n
- Delivering evidence-based care while ensuring the safety of patients and staff;
n
- Liaising with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care;
n
- Supporting team members in delivering family-centred care;
n
- Providing education and support to patients and their families to assist with the ongoing management of care.

REQUIREMENTS

n

n
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
n
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Anaesthetics / Recovery;
n
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
n
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
n




- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
n
- Works well independently and within a team;
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

REMUNERATION

n

A salary ranging from $37.60 - 51.50 per hour.

Specialities include general medicine, ENT, Plastics, gastroenterology, gynaecology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopaedics, urology, vascular, respiratory therapy, and comprehensive oncological service.
