Our client is a proudly Australian-owned and operated business and a leader in the next generation of switchboard manufacturing. Due to increased workloads, they are seeking an experienced and qualified Switchboard Assembler to join their team in Pakenham.

This is initially a 6-week temporary assignment, with the potential to become an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate.

Working Hours
n
n
- Monday to Friday
n
- 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
n
- Optional overtime available
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Assembly and wiring of electrical switchboards
n
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
n
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
n
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with AS/NZS standards
n
- Working as part of a skilled and supportive team
n
n
To Be Successful You Will Have
n
n
- Minimum 1 year experience in switchboard assembly or manufacturing
n
- Relevant trade qualification such as:n n
- Electrician
n
- Electrical Fitter
n
n
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
n
- Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical schematics
n
- Experience using hand and power tools
n
- Valuable level of physical fitness
n
- Willingness to undertake a Drug and Alcohol test
n
- Local to the South East suburbs (preferred)
n
