ABOUT THE ROLE

n

As aPainting Apprentice, your duties will include:

n

- Carryingout measurements and basic calculations
n
- Readingand interpreting plans and specifications
n
- Erectingand maintaining trestle and plank systems
n
- Handlingpainting and decorating materials
n
- Usingpainting and decorating tools and equipment
n
- Removingand replacing doors, windows, and components
n
- Preparingsurfaces for painting
n
- Applyingpaint using brushes and rollers
n
- Applyingtextured coating finishes by brush, roller, and spray
n

Requirements

ABOUT YOU

Thesuccessful candidate will have:

n

- Agenuine interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship
n
- AWhite Card,



or the ability to obtain one as soon aspossible
n
- Physicalfitness and the ability to perform manual labour
n
- Awillingness to learn and work as part of a team
n
- Apositive attitude, reliability, and robust work ethic
n
- Theability to follow instructions and take direction
n
- Trustworthinessand motivation
n

n

Preferred (but not essential):

- Acurrent driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
- Previouspainting or construction-related work experience
n
