About the Role
n
St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Australian Rules Football Head Coach to join our Sport Department. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape a dynamic program, driving success both on and off the field while making a meaningful impact on student development.
n
The Head Coach will drive the development of the Australian Rules program, fostering an inclusive team culture and delivering high-quality coaching, while collaborating with stakeholders and modelling the College's values to ensure exceptional program delivery.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Plan and deliver effective training sessions and game strategies, supporting athlete skill development and performance progression
n
- Foster a positive, inclusive team environment that promotes enjoyment, discipline, respect, and wellbeing
n
- Lead and coordinate the program across the season, including training schedules, competition preparation, and resource management
n
- Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, staff,
and stakeholders, providing updates on progress and representing the program
n
- Maintain up-to-date coaching knowledge and support the development of assistant coaches
n
n
What You Bring
n
n
- A relevant coaching qualification and/or significant experience in a similar sports leadership role
n
- Demonstrated experience coaching and developing athletes, with solid sport-specific knowledge
n
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, with strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
n
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
n
- Experience working collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals and deliver outcomes
n
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and alignment with the College's values and expected standards of conduct
n
- Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values
n
