The Opportunity
n
We are seeking an ambitious Undergraduate Accountant to join our growing team. This role suits a candidate who is currently studying, or in their final year of an Accounting degree, and who is looking to work full-time while continuing their studies part time.
n
Working alongside experienced accountants, you will build practical skills across tax,
accounting and outsourced finance through structured training, mentoring, and exposure to a broad range of client engagements, both individual and business.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Assist with bookkeeping, payroll, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable
n
- Prepare BAS, payroll lodgements and month-end reporting
n
- Assist with preparing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
n
- Participate in training and professional development
n
- Contribute to achieving team and firm-wide objectives
n
n
About You
n

You will have:

- Current enrolment in a Commerce or Business degree majoring in Accounting
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- High attention to detail with a methodical approach to your work

n
- An interest in cloud accounting software (such as Xero) and technology
n
- A solid sense of accountability, professionalism and curiosity
