The Company

Our client is a long-standing cable manufacturer and distributor with over two decades of experience in the Australian industrial electrical cable market. Based in Oakleigh South, they are a well-established warehouse and distribution business known for quality products and strong industry relationships.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

n

n
- Picking and packing customer orders
n
- Putting away incoming stock and maintaining accurate inventory records
n
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
n
- Cable assembly and operating cable reeling machines
n
- General warehouse,



stock control and inventory duties
n
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse
n

n

The successful candidate will require:

n

n
- Current forklift licence (essential and a must)
n
- Previous warehouse and stores experience
n
- Experience picking orders, putting away stock and loading/unloading trucks
n
- Must be competent with RF scanners and have good computer skills
n
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
n

Hours and Rate

n

Day shift hours

n

Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 3.00pm

n

Hourly Rate: $32.89 per hour + super + Overtime + bonus

n

Guaranteed pay increase after 6 months probation period

n

Candidates must have full Australian working rights.
