About the Opportunity
n
This position is responsible for overseeing Council's procurement and contract management functions, while providing high-level advice and support to the CEO, General Managers, Manager Financial Services, and business units on procurement, contracts, and related matters.
n
What you will bring
n
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
n
n
- Degree or Diploma qualifications in business or related discipline with relevant experience or lessor formal qualification with extensive experience in procurement, contract management or related fields.
n
- Experience in the use, implementation, and administration of information systems and business software applications.
n
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop a small team of professional staff, fostering high performance and accountability.
n
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build productive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports, correspondence and presentations, and communicating information clearly and effectively.
n
n
Salary and conditions
n
The position is classified within Band 7 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $108,138 per annum statutory superannuation.
n
